I am so pleased to announce that the paperback version is now ready to order. I am only sad that my co-authors and original publisher are no longer here to see this book living on in this new format. There is an added dedication to them in this volume.

This paperback book can be found at the Millicent Rogers Museum Gift shop, and can be ordered through Op. Cit. bookshop in Taos or Santa Fe. It can also be ordered through your local Independent Bookshop, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. It is in eBook form in Kobo. I hope to have it out in Kindle and perhaps Apple Books sometime in the New Year. For sure, I'll let you know.

The hardback book is now out of print, but may be found at Two Graces Gallery in Taos.

It is sad that in recent years Arturo Peralta-Ramos son of Millicent Rogers, Nita Murphy co-author, and Judith Van Gieson of ABQ Press, our first publisher have all passed on. ABQ Press no longer exists. I have added a dedication to them in the new paperback version, and include it below.

Warmest Regards, Judith Nasse

Nita Murphy,
July 10, 1942-January 31, 2022. l miss Nita deeply as she was a one of a kind friend who could just as easily socialize and make everyone around her at ease, engaging in interesting conversations, but also was a brilliant researcher for this book and for Taos History, as well as Taosenos' ancestry. She loved cars and the sport of car racing and was able to find people to help with all aspects of the autos in the book. She was an avid reader, her book collection as extensive as Millicent Rogers'. She was an active part of the Taos Historical Society and on the board of Friends of D. H. Lawrence as well as a docent at the D. H. Lawrence Ranch. l acknowledge the incredible support and help of Nita's daughter Nancy German in re-publishing this book

Arturo Peralta-Ramos 11, November 1928-December 2015. It was always interesting meeting with Arturo, especially when he and Art Bachrach were together as they were both raconteurs, their stories going on for hours over luncheon meetings, or in Arturo's study up a flight of outside stairs at one corner of the Turtle Walk house. Arturo's lively mind dredged up astounding details of his life with his mother Millicent Rogers as well as his own escapades. It was a delight watching him find out about the espionage history of her life as she kept them secret even from her children. He drove around Taos in a huge l 970's station wagon.

Judith Van Gieson, 1942-2021. Judith was our publisher, the owner of ABQ Press in Albuquerque. She and Art Bachrach were good friends, bonded by their love of mystery fiction. Judith wrote 13 mysteries. Her support for finishing and publishing this book after Art passed was invaluable. She was especially delighted when the book won the President's Choice award for Best Design and Production by the New Mexico Book Association.
