New Pictures and an Article About Millicent and the Museum

Millicent as a young girl from Millicent Rogers Museum
Millicent's burial place at Sierra Vista Cemetery, Taos, NM

Friends just sent us this link to an article about Taos and Taos women in New York Social Diary!
Thanks to Roger and Ken who pointed it out to us.

The article has great photos of the Museum and these 2 that we hadn't seen before. Her youngest son Paul is buried next to Millicent looking into the Taos Mountains. The only thing we would disagree with is that Millicent's son Arturo Peralta-Ramos told us unequivocally that Millicent was not buried in a designer gown, but rather wrapped in one of the Indian blankets from her collection. We are delighted that our book is featured in a photo.

On October 19th come to the book fair hosted by Friends of D. H. Lawrence, 10 a.m.-4 p.m at the Mable Dodge Luhan House on Morada Lane. Millicent Rogers: A Life in Full will have a table. (Contact Nita at  575-758-9351 or 779-7446) if you'd like a table for your book/s)
